Artistic Director – Ronda Brinkman hales from Springfield, Illinois and graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Business Administration in 1990. She danced in the Springfield Ballet Company from 1985 through 2001 dancing roles such as Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen and Dew Drop in The Nutcracker and Lilac Fairy, Fairy Godmother and Snow White. Ms. Brinkman has also served as Marketing Director and as a Board Member for the Springfield Ballet Company for numerous years. She has been teaching children for 17 years and has many students dancing for the Springfield Ballet Company and professionally. She has been the owner and director of Springfield Dance since 1995, with over 450 students, and she is pleased to be the founding director of the Springfield Youth Performance Group. She hopes to educate the community on the importance of the arts in the lives of children.
